Defining the Future
Safran is a leading contributor in the design, development and deployment of the aviation industry’s next generation emergency management system known as GADSS (Global Aeronautical Distress Safety System). To allow operators to comply with the GADSS requirements for the autonomous tracking of aircraft in distress as well as other emerging aviation safety initiatives linked to lithium batteries, Safran has designed two ELT systems in the Ultima-DT and Ultima-S.
Integra ER (N)
The Integra ELT offers the highest level of resiliency through an innovative backup antenna design. Operating independently of the aircraft, the back-up antenna will transmit your position through the 406 MHz frequency to the Cospas-Sarsat search and rescue satellites. This version is the Extended Range (ER-N) of the Integra AF ER which includes the ARINC e-nav module.
