Let’s Meet at IPAC 2023 in May!
The 14th International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’23) will be held in Venice, Italy from 7 to 12 May 2023 at the Venice Convention Centre, as a fully in-person event.
IPAC is the main international event for the worldwide particle accelerator field and industry. The IPAC’23 edition is jointly organized by the accelerator communities in Europe, Americas and Asia and is hosted by Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare and Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste.
Safran Electronics & Defense is widely known as a world-wide leader on accurate sub-nanosecond time transfer and frequency distribution as well as having high expertise on advanced control systems for particle accelerators.
Safran already provided Low Level RF control systems, Beam Position Monitor and timing solutions to our customers including relevant institutions such as CIEMAT, CERN, F4E, SARAF, ITER or ESS with outstanding performance.
This year, Safran’s key focus will be on its latest advanced control systems for particle accelerators, such as the uTCA / Stand-alone BPM, a Navigation & Timing brand.
Don’t miss Safran’s oral presentation during the poster sessions :
- Status of the uTCA Digital LLRF integration for SARAF Phase II
- Update on the status of the uTCA Digitizer BPM design for SARAF Phase II
- Picosecond Timing System
